– Cannot work remote. Candidate must be located in Missoula, MT
– Minimum of 4 years of applicable experience
– Must work well and communicate effectively with a small team, using the Scrum approach to the Agile methodology

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Marketing Engineer / Web Analytics Specialist is responsible for overseeing all analytics initiatives within the TOMIS marketing agency. This role includes implementing and managing code snippets using JavaScript, troubleshooting analytics installations, establishing analytics best practices, and conducting analytics training sessions for the team. The specialist will work closely with marketing and technical teams to drive data-driven decision-making. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop, install, and manage JavaScript code snippets for web analytics tracking. 
  • Troubleshoot and optimize analytics installations across various platforms
  • Establish and document analytics best practices for consistent and accurate data collection. 
  • Conduct analytics training sessions to upskill the marketing team. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations. 

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and ensure a proper implementation of Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Microsoft Ads, TikTok Pixel and other tracking tools via Google Tag Manager.
  • Write and install custom JavaScript snippets to track user behavior, such as a contact form submissions and purchases.
  • Ensure conversion tracking is properly configured for various 3rd party booking platforms such as Rezdy, Fareharbor, Peek Pro, XOLA, The Flybook, Checkfront, and more. *Our clients are Shopify clients. 
  • Quality assurance checks of existing tracking installations.This includes troubleshooting, documentation, and providing feedback to agency team members. 
  • Assist team members in understanding analytics data and serve as a general expert in marketing analytics.
  • Understanding omni-channel user behavior, conversion data and customer journeys, funnel analysis and multi-channel attribution.
  • Provide detailed and clear notes for all tracking setups and troubleshooting tickets.
  • Maintain digital analytics process documentation.
  • Maintain a code repository of snippets and best practices

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1+ years of JavaScript experience, specifically DOM manipulation & event listeners

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are in search of a ChatBot Designer to drive our industry-leading AI bot program for tour operators. Our ideal candidate is an organized self-starter with SaaS experience, strong Dialogflow experience, and creative problem-solving skills. Familiarity with the tours and activities sector or the travel industry as a whole is a plus. This position will work closely with our product team and will be instrumental in helping the company continue to scale. The role will offer invaluable professional business exposure and experience with tremendous potential for growth
 

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role as a TOMIS ChatBot Designer will be an evolving one, empowering you to use the skills you have and challenging you to grow. As the primary point of contact for clients throughout the bot build process, you’ll be expected to balance internal and external stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities

AI ChatBot Management

  • Monitor AI ChatBot conversations for existing clients and make requested updates as needed
  • Evaluate live bot performance and identify areas for improvement within the conversation design
  • New ChatBot development –including the building and testing of new ChatBots
  • Updating intents/responses in Dialogflow for live bots
  • Work closely with our Product Manager and Sales teams to inform future products built around the AI bot.
 QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 2 years of applicable work or academic experience
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to find the right answers quickly
  • Platforms the position will require you to use regularly include: Dialogflow, Twilio, Google Suite, Asana, Hubspot, and Firebase
  • Solid understanding of client business needs and how TOMIS aligns to fill these needs
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Comfortable giving technically-detailed presentations 
  • Previous SaaS experience preferred
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills
DESIRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS
  • Experience, understanding, and/or passion for the outdoor activity/tourism industry
  • Basic knowledge of marketing principles and strategies
  • Passion to learn new skills and work/think outside the box
